General Questions

  • Your prescribed medication is a once-weekly injectable treatment used for weight management. Please follow the exact medication name, dose, and instructions provided by your MYRESET doctor and partner pharmacy.

  • Most GLP-1 medications are injected once weekly, on the same day each week where possible.

    You may inject at any time of day, with or without food.

  • Recommended injection sites include:

    • Abdomen/stomach area (at least 2 inches away from the belly button)

    • Front of the thigh

    • Back of the upper arm (if assisted)

    Rotate injection sites weekly to reduce irritation.

  • Most patients describe the injection as mild or nearly painless. The needles used are very small and designed for subcutaneous (under the skin) injection.

    Some patients may experience temporary:

    • Mild stinging

    • Redness

    • Bruising

    • Tenderness

    These are usually short-lived.

  • No. This medication should be injected into the fatty layer under the skin (subcutaneous injection), not into muscle or veins.

  • A small spot of blood can happen occasionally and is usually harmless.

    You may apply gentle pressure with clean tissue or gauze. Avoid rubbing the area aggressively.

  • A very small drop of medication at the needle tip or skin surface can occasionally happen and is usually not significant.

    Do not repeat the dose unless specifically advised by your doctor.

  • Follow the device instructions provided with your medication.

    In general:

    • Keep the pen pressed firmly against the skin

    • Hold for several seconds after the injection completes to ensure full delivery

  • Yes — however, some patients find it more comfortable to leave the pen at room temperature for a short period before injecting.

    Do not heat the medication artificially.

  • There is no universally “best” time.

    Many patients prefer:

    • Evening injections if worried about nausea

    • Weekends or rest days when starting treatment

    Consistency is more important than timing

Missed Dose Questions

  • If you miss a dose, follow the guidance provided for your specific medication.

    As a general rule:

    • If remembered within a few days, you may still be able to take it

    • If it is close to your next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose

    Do not double-dose unless advised by your doctor.

    If unsure, contact MYRESET support before injecting.

  • Usually yes.

    Try to leave at least 72 hours between doses unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Side Effects & Safety

    • Eat slowly

    • Stay hydrated

    Seek medical advice if symptoms become severe or persistent.

  • Common side effects may include:

    • Nausea

    • Reduced appetite

    • Bloating

    • Constipation

    • Diarrhoea

    • Reflux

    • Mild fatigue

    Not everyone experiences side effects.

  • Please seek urgent medical care if you experience symptoms such as:

    • Severe or persistent abdominal pain

    • Persistent vomiting

    • Difficulty breathing

    • Swelling of the face or throat

    • Signs of severe allergic reaction

    • Severe dehydration

    • Chest pain

    If concerned, seek immediate medical assessment.

  • Mild redness, itching, or bruising at the injection site can happen occasionally and usually settles within a few days.

    Avoid injecting into irritated, bruised, or damaged skin.

Storage & Handling

  • Most injectable GLP-1 medications should be:

    • Stored in the refrigerator before first use

    • Kept away from direct sunlight and heat

    • Not frozen

    Always follow the storage instructions supplied with your medication packaging.

  • Some medications remain stable at room temperature for limited periods, depending on the product.

    Please contact MYRESET support before continuing use if:

    • The medication was exposed to heat

    • Left outside refrigeration for an extended period

    • Frozen accidentallyeriences side effects.

  • Yes.

    When travelling:

    • Keep medication cool where possible

    • Avoid excessive heat exposure

    • Carry medication in hand luggage when flying

    • Bring spare needles if applicable

  • No. Needles are single-use only.

    Reusing needles increases the risk of:

    • Infection

    • Needle damage

    • Painful injections

    • Blocked needles

  • Do not attempt to force the injection.

    Check:

    • The medication window

    • Needle attachment

    • Expiry date

    • Pen instructions

Authenticity & Packaging FAQ

  • Yes. All medications prescribed and fulfilled through our partner pharmacy are sourced through authorised supply channels and provided in original manufacturer-issued packaging (e.g. Mounjaro® / Wegovy®).

  • Yes. Patients receive original proprietary manufacturer pens.

    Our partner pharmacy does not repackage, transfer, alter, or compound medication into separate syringes or containers.

  • No. Medications are dispensed in their original branded manufacturer packaging.

  • All incoming stock undergoes inspection according to internal receiving SOPs before being dispensed.

    Products with damaged, suspicious, tampered, or non-compliant packaging are rejected and escalated to the supplier immediately.

  • Your medication should arrive:

    • In original branded packaging

    • Properly sealed

    • With product labels and expiry details intact

    Additional protective packaging (such as our MYRESET bubble wrap) may be added externally during delivery to protect the medication during shipment.

  • Do not use the medication if:

    • The pen appears damaged

    • The seal appears tampered with

    • The packaging looks suspicious

    • The medication appears abnormal
